Litigation Experience

In addition to litigation based research, we have been involved in many qualitative research projects that provide insight into ‘policy’ areas with legal dimensions: Sarbanes Oxley Act 2002, predatory lending, cap and trade carbon emissions, drug decriminalization, universal health care, Medicare and Medicaid, and health insurance package design.

Ms. Mound has also conducted focus group research in the legal field on behalf of:

• New Mexico Administrative Office of the Courts – to assess the legal system from the perspective of litigants
• New Mexico Bar Association – to assess the status of Native American, African American and Lesbian, Gay, Bi and Transgender attorneys in New Mexico 
• New Mexico Administrative Office of the Courts – to assess the judicial performance evaluation process from the perspective of judges, attorneys and court staff
